Hi! My name is Sam. I'm the Director of Education at Bespoke Treatments NYC

2 years ago, I had a young, active father come to see me with debilitating back pain that left him almost unable to walk. The treatment methods I learned in school using low loads, massage, and resistance bands weren't cutting it.

I knew something needed to change, so I dove into the world of kettlebell training and the results were remarkable. Fast forward two weeks and this patient was back to riding his peloton, playing lacrosse with his son, and enjoying a happy/pain-free life.

There was no feeling like seeing the smile on my patient's face when he was able to play catch with his son again. If you want to experience this same euphoria with your patients, this course will help you get there!

At Bespoke Treatments, our motto is to help people Live Better, Longer.

The inspiration behind developing this course was to help rehab specialists, like you, help their patients live better, longer, and healthier lives.

Why should you take this course and learn from me?

As a graduate of the NYU DPT Program in 2019 and current Teaching Assistant for the program's Principles of Exercise course, I am in the perfect position to identify the gaps in many PT programs curriculums, specifically as it pertains to appropriate implementation and programming of kettlebells.

Referencing the following courses and utilizing principles from these certifications, I have combined the world of physical therapy and strength and conditioning to create this kettlebell course for rehab specialists:

  • Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
  • EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS)
  • Emergency Medical Responder for the Athlete (ERA)
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
  • Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F)

Claude Hillel, PT, DPT

25+ years experience

"I've used kettlebells for years without any formal knowledge. Sam was well organized, clear, thorough, and he presented it all in a concise manner that inspired critical thinking... I've brought back great tools to use in my clinical practice."

Garret Spencer, NYU DPT Student

"This class is absolutely something that I would recommend to anyone who wants to start incorporating kettlebell exercise for their patients, clients, or even themselves.

Andrew Batchelder, PT, DPT

"As an outpatient physical therapist, my goal is to empower patients through movement. I now feel more confident implementing kettlebells when appropriate, as a safe and effective intervention for my patients to achieve their goals."

Together, We Can Move the Physical Therapy Industry Forward!
